The spirit of the East filled RUDN! On February 10, the Main Hall hosted a vibrant celebration of Chinese New Year, uniting performers, students, and guests from Russia and China to welcome the Year of the Horse together

The gala concert was organized by RUDN in partnership with China Media Group and the Embassy of China and was honored by distinguished guests:

- H.E. Zhang Hanhui, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Russia;

- Mr. Wang Bin, Director of the Eurasian Bureau of China Media Group;

- Mr. Pavel A. Shevtsov, Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo;

- Mr. Konstantin I. Mogilevsky, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Russian Federation

What the guests experienced:

- A journey through Chinese culture — from the ancient Lion Dance to the mysterious Sichuan Opera.

- Russian and Chinese performers presented a stunning Wushu act, "Spirit of Young Warriors".

- The harmony of traditional Chinese instruments and Russian vocals in the performance "Blue and White Porcelain".

This celebration became a true bridge of friendship and cultural exchange, once again highlighting the strong ties between our countries.
