On December 17, the annual Peoples’ Friendship Ball - RUDN's signature event - turned the historic Pashkov House into a glittering celebration of international unity, elegance and cultural dialogue.
Co-organized by RUDN University and the International Association of Balls, the evening gathered 340 guests, including 55 international students from around the world. The historic halls, adorned with festive decor, created a majestic setting for a night dedicated to diplomacy, dance and cross-cultural friendship.
Highlights of the program included:
- An elegant opening ceremony, where 19 debutant couples performed a classic waltz.
- Dance performances by student couples, who showcased a variety of styles including quadrille, tango and cha-cha-cha.
- Dance masterclasses by the heads of the International Association of Balls, Mikhail and Yulia Gribov, who taught guests various dance styles.
- Performances by invited ballet and opera artists, adding a touch of high art to the festive atmosphere.
The ball served as a vibrant platform for students, alumni and distinguished guests to connect in a spirit of celebration, once again reinforcing RUDN's mission of building bridges between peoples and cultures through beauty and shared experience.
