Peking University ranks 13th in the international rankings, making it one of the most prestigious universities in Asia.

Together with RUDN Rector Oleg Yastrebov, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation and the scientific potential of both universities. Both sides expressed strong interest in signing a memorandum of understanding, particularly in the development of academic mobility programmes.

Peking University also invited the Rector of RUDN University to take part in the University Rectors' Forum in China this autumn.

RUDN University is home to over 2,500 students from China, including around 700 PhD students who are set to become researchers and academics in the future.

The University is actively building partnerships with China: it collaborates with 96 Chinese universities and offers students 18 joint educational programmes.
