How to submit documents?

In the 2026/2027 academic year, the Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University) is accepting foreign citizens for admission to Bachelor's / Specialist's programs:

based on an entrance examination in the Russian language - an interview conducted using remote technologies (for admission to Russian‑medium programs) / based on an entrance examination in the English language - an interview conducted using remote technologies (for admission to English‑medium programs);
based on a competitive selection with an assessment of the portfolio submitted by the foreign citizen.

for admission to Master's programs:

based on a competitive selection with an assessment of the portfolio submitted by the foreign citizen.

Additional admission round - document submission deadlines for main educational programs (2026/2027 academic year):

Bachelor’s / Specialist’s / Master’s programs: September 7 — October 2 (until 18:00 Moscow time)
Entrance Examinations: until October 9
Enrollment: by October 16

Application deadlines for degree programs (Bachelor's / Specialist's / Master's) in the 2026/2027 academic year:

Bachelor's / Specialist's programs: June 20 - August 10
Master's programs: June 20 - August 13

Upload the required documents:

Document on the previous level of education (certificate / diploma) with a supplement (transcript of grades), with a notarized translation into Russian if required.
Apostille / legalization of the document on the previous level of education (certificate / diploma) with a supplement (transcript of grades) - if required.
Certificate of recognition of educational documents in the territory of the Russian Federation - if required.
Scanned copy of the international passport with a notarized translation into Russian, valid for at least 18 months from the date of admission to the University.
Copies of documents required for compiling a portfolio: achievements in academic and social activities, letters of recommendation, certificates of merit, diplomas for participation in Olympiads and academic competitions from the last 2 years.
Preparatory Faculty completion certificate / Russian language proficiency certificate at level B1 or higher (TORFL-1 certificate) - if available.
General medical certificate confirming no contraindications for studying in the Russian Federation (valid for no more than 12 months) - with a notarized translation into Russian if required.
Medical certificate confirming the absence of HIV/AIDS (valid for no more than 12 months) - with a notarized translation into Russian if required.
Photo (3×4 cm).

Tuition payment and enrollment

Upon submission of a complete set of documents and successful completion of the entrance examinations, you will receive a tuition agreement and an invoice for payment in your RUDN Personal Account - https://lk.rudn.ru
