State-Funded Scholarships – RUDN Open Olympiad for International Applicants

Patrice Lumumba Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN) actively works to attract gifted, talented, and career-oriented young individuals to its student body. Winners and prizewinners of academic Olympiads have extensive opportunities to enroll in any study program (specialization) offered by RUDN University.

RUDN Open Olympiad for International Students

The RUDN Open Olympiad is a competitive academic contest designed to identify and attract talented applicants for studies at the university in their chosen fields.

Who Can Participate?

In-person participation is open to:

• high school students
• RUDN University students
• students of other Russian universities who do not hold Russian citizenship and are pursuing bachelor’s or specialist degree programs
• graduates of higher education institutions from CIS and non-CIS countries.

Benefits for Olympiad Winners:

• State-funded scholarships under the Russian Government quota.
• Eligibility for the “RUDN BRILLIANT STUDENTS” scholarship.
• Access to additional professional development programs.

On-Site Olympiads at RUDN

Students eligible for in-person participation in the Olympiad include high school students, RUDN University students, and students from other Russian universities who do not hold Russian citizenship and are enrolled in bachelor’s or specialist degree programs, as well as graduates of higher education institutions from CIS and non-CIS countries.

Online Olympiads at RUDN University

All foreign citizens from any country can participate.
1. Within the announced Olympiad period, you can register on the Olympiad website, create a personal account, and submit the required documents.
2. Take part in the online testing on the website (information about the test date will be sent to your email).
3. Participate in an individual interview.
4. Wait for the Olympiad results to be published in your personal account.

Bachelor's Level
The Olympiad is open to school students in grades 11–12 who do not hold Russian citizenship, regardless of their nationality.

  Participation stages:
- Step 1. Registration for the IN-PERSON Olympiad
- Step 2. Completion of Olympiad assignments
- Step 3. Announcement of winners
- Step 4. Submission of documents by the winner for admission to RUDN University
- Step 5. Enrollment as a RUDN student!

  Master's Level
Students currently enrolled in Bachelor's or Specialist's programs, as well as graduates of higher education institutions from near and far abroad countries, are invited to participate.
