Sports and Wellness Complex

The Sports and Wellness Complex (SWC) is the sports center of RUDN University. It hosts student training sessions, team practices, amateur and mass sports events, as well as individual and group training in various sports.

Physical education is a mandatory discipline for first- and second-year students. RUDN University offers a wide range of sports, from football and basketball to fitness and badminton.

Special attention is given to students who, for health reasons, cannot participate in general groups. This individual approach ensures a high attendance rate of 86–90%, with many students joining faculty and university teams. Some go on to compete at the international level.

For students’ convenience, RUDN University offers sports halls and outdoor facilities for free access to various sports, including gymnastics, handball, basketball, and football. In total, there are more than 40 sports clubs.

Every student can join a sports club or become part of one of the 26 university teams.
