Required Documents for Admission to Bachelor’s, Specialist, Master’s


  • Educational Document

a copy of the educational certificate or qualification if necessary, a certified translation into Russian

  • Passport

a scanned copy of the passport or other identity document

  • Personal Data Consent

a signed consent form for personal data processing

  • Medical Certificate

- a copy of the medical certificate confirming:

- no contraindications for studying in Russia
- negative HIV and AIDS test results

  • Additional Documents (if applicable)

Copies of any other relevant documents, such as:

- certificates of victory in international Olympiads
- awards from professional competitions

2 Achievements in academic and extracurricular activities, certificates, diplomas, etc. 10 points
3 Applicant status based on participation in competitions / olympiads for foreign nationals of Russian educational organizations (winner) / (runner-up) (only one status is considered) 20 points (winner)
10 points (runner-up)
4 Recommendations (or other similar documents) from educational institutions, public organizations, unions, associations, Russian overseas institutions, foreign diplomatic missions, etc. 5 points

Competitive Selection for Foreign Citizens

Foreign citizens and stateless persons applying for tuition-based education contracts are selected based on the results of an entrance examination in the form of a portfolio competition.

The university establishes the following portfolio elements and evaluation criteria:

Evaluation Criteria (Individual Achievements) and Points

1. Grade Point Average (GPA) from the previous level of education, including profile subjects:

5.0 – 45 points

4.5–4.9 – 40 points

4.0–4.4 – 35 points

3.5–3.9 – 30 points

2. Academic and extracurricular achievements (certificates, diplomas, etc.) – 5 points

3. Language proficiency certificate – 10 points

4. Participation in competitions/olympiads for foreign citizens (only one status is considered):

Winner – 10 points

Prize-winner – 5 points

5. Motivation letter – 10 points

6. Volunteer work in the healthcare sector – 10 points

7. Position in university rankings of the applicant’s previous institution – 5 points

8. Recommendations (or equivalent documents) from educational institutions, public organizations, associations, Russian diplomatic missions, foreign embassies, etc. – 5 points

Applicants must submit electronic copies of documents confirming their portfolio evaluation results.
