Visa support

State‑funded (budget) places:

If you are a state‑funded student (within the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation or a winner of the RUDN Open Olympiad for Foreign Citizens), your invitation is issued by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

You can track the status of your invitation in your personal account on the website https://russia-edu.minobrnauki.gov.ru/ (where you also tracked your application status) or via the email address you provided during registration in the system.

Once you receive your visa instruction, you will contact the Russian Embassy / Consulate with the instruction number and begin the process of obtaining a student visa.

Fee‑paying (contract) places:

An invitation can only be issued after the tuition fee has been paid, the funds have been credited to the University's account, and the enrollment order has been issued.

The decision on whether to issue an invitation and the timeframe for issuing it are made by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. The processing time for a study invitation is at least 30 calendar days.

The invitation will be displayed in your personal account in the "Invitations" section.
